Lori Greiner, born as Lori Husman, is an American businesswoman, and well-known TV personality, who has been acting as a Shark or an investor in the ABC Business Reality TV show, Shark Tank since 2009. Her interest in creating custom jewelry while in the college years, and would continue to create and sell the items until she came across the idea of creating a plastic earrings organizer and then showing it to women walking on the streets to observe their reactions. Her product was patented, and then began to sell it online and off. She kept adding products. In the past, she's launched and market more than 1,000 successful products. Additionally, she holds more than 120 US as well as International patents. Her business-savvy skills allow her to determine in a flash whether an item has the capacity to be "a hero" or not. As a result, the vast majority of her items she offers are a success. She's a firm believer that "if you're fortunate enough to have a chance then it's your obligation to help others". This is why she donates to many causes every year.
