Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British composer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. He was born on the 1st day of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former pupil of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools, created a band named White Eskimo along with three other students. They participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they won. Although he has always been attracted to music, he also aspired to become an lawyer or an physiotherapist. As a worker in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles could afford to feed his family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. The reason for this is that his band was split. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell and performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the best contenders for the contest. However they were placed third just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid two million pounds in a contract for One Direction.
