She was a bit flimsy as she found popularity with diverse musical and theme styles. She often composed her own songs. Because of her distinctiveness and vocal prowess, she received high praise and various prizes. Notably, she's received the Grammy Award a record three times. Apart from her professional career as a musician, she's appeared on television and film. She also wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with a number of charities.
